Well, tonight I tried a different method of inking. Basically, I did the pencils, then I scanned and printed it out in blue, then inked that, then scanned it again in black (and color as well). The theory was that the scanner would ignore the really light blue like a copier will ignore the "non-photo-blue" pencils. Well, didn't work so well, as you might have noticed. It ended up kinda dirty in spite of my attempts to clean it up. Also not colored, mostly for time than anything else. I quite envy Tatsuya Ishida from Sinfest because he can make the cells look so great with just black and white inking. If I could do something like that it'd make doing an every-weekday comic just that little bit more efficient, y'know? Anyway, yeah. Black chassis Macbooks. I don't get it. |
