Not that it wasn't expected, but still, seems like a strategically poor choice in light of presidental elections coming up.
Then again, it's not like Bush's approval ratings could get much lower without hovering in the "margin of error" neighborhood. Can't think it's doing great things in terms of splash-damage to the rest of the GOP field in terms of public approval, either.
Anyway!
