[Update 2007-07-13]: Hey sorry, I spent all night getting TGD ready for resumption of activity. Will put something up Friday afternoon! This editorial comment inspired by some comments over here in the live blogging comments for the Penny Arcade E3 panel. Really kind of annoyed me, though really taste in humor is subjective. Even so, had it been said that they don't like that kind of humor. However, one clown commented that knowing the joke (earlier in the same comment thread) about IGN wondering if there was a number lower than 7 would require more industry knowledge than the typical PA reader had? I have to question that. It's pretty well known that the big-name rags (be they dead-tree or digital) start their average rating somwhere around 9.9/10.0 and then add on bonus points after that.
