News for 2007-10-10

I did just get done watching it, and it was a weird experience. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong. It was Superman, and yet, it was missing something. I dunno if it was because Lex Luther just seemed sort of "a big mean guy" instead of "maniacal supergenius", or because Superman was a little too angsty? Maybe because Clark wasn't bumbling enough? Lois was a little too whiny? I'm not sure, to be real honest, but something was certainly off, or the movie was missing something. It's entirely possible that, at least in my mind, what the movie was lacing was actually someone in the role of Superman. I think you know who I'm talking about, here. steve@negative-zen.com
