Eric doesn't hate God (as you would see in Chapter 4), he just hates people who profess to speak for Him, and yet have eyes that are full of judgment and condemnation. Nevertheless, this is a clear signal that he's pretty much lost his mind, and it dooms him forever. "Multong Bakla" is the title of a popular song at the time, by the Filipino rock group "The Youth".
