I'm just starting college now, and while I'm very excited and happy about that, the only drawback is that I no longer live in New York City. However, I will always consider myself a New Yorker and know I will live there for most of my life. Why would anyone want to live anywhere else?

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but today is an important day, especially for New Yorkers. Please take the time to think about what happened on this date five years ago, and to remember and respect the people who lost their lives.
