Jim's mother, Delores, has some issues. She and Jim's father divorced when Jim was in his early teens. Her other son, Harry, died of cancer a few years ago and has yet to get on with her life from these two events. Her days are filled with bitterness over her ex-husband and regret over the loss of her favored child.
