Updated Irregularly

A small test/preview of the technique I'm using to make the comic. The background is a simple photo of the surface of my desk. The Smiley Face was modeled and rendered in 3D (I use the program 3D Studio Max). Correct lighting and camera matching was applied. An "Ink and Paint" shader was applied to the 3D model to give it a 2D look. In Photoshop, the model was colored and composited to the background photo. The Smiley Face has no arms or legs right now because I'm still learning how to attach them to the model to create a posable biped. It may not look like much, but I've learned quite a bit.

In the begining, there was much disproportion

Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" ripped off.

No, the Smiley Face has no arms and legs, just floating hands and feet.

I may revise this picture once I'm skilled.
