You should be able to find five things "wrong". I used a calculator (this one: http://www.paystolivegreen.com/2008/09/energy-savings-calculator/) and, I admit, I'm terrible at math, but I think that I got it worked out close enough to where for every 15 minutes in the above situation, you expend an unused 1/4 kwH. It doesn't add up to much, that 1/4 kwH, but every little bit counts. Every person cutting out a tiny little bit of their unnecessary energy waste saves a lot of unnecessary energy waste.
