Eco-Laundry page 3 : Green Detergents!

Detergents!  Hope this gives you some ideas of what to look for in a good washing solution.  I personally am planning on making my own (when I actually move out on my own...)

Some sites for you to check out:

-More info on what makes detergent green, and some commercial recommendations: http://www.greenamericatoday.org/programs/livinggreen/articles/GoingGreenWithYourLaundry.cfm

-Probably referenced this last week, but: http://planetgreen.discovery.com/go-green/green-laundry/green-laundry-tips.html

-Do It Yourself (DIY) detergent: http://tipnut.com/10-homemade-laundry-soap-detergent-recipes/

-And, the static-cling with vinegar and reasons why you should NOT use the dryer sheets came from: http://www.grinningplanet.com/2004/04-29/stop-static-cling-fabric-softener-article.htm

Comments (how do you like the saturation/color balance?), concerns, used accordions, the usual: reardon (dot) melanie (at) gmail.com!

Hope you have a wonderful week!  See you next Monday, bright and early, with a comic!
