Each issue I'll provide a tip for others who want to make a sprite comic!!!! Today's tip is:
Don't flatten layers unless you're sure you won't need them!!!!
Study the cutout from the explosion and the background in each panel. Notice the sudden roundness of the holes in panel 4 and the different background. This is because I'd flattened panel 3 and then wanted to put my character between the projector and background. I used the eraser and a new background, so it looks really weird. However, if the layers were not flattened, I could simply put my character between the two layers!!!!!
