Glowy Triforce symbols are cool!
Here's how to make one:
- Select the layer with the glowy Triforce..
- In the Layers palette, click the button that looks a bit like a Yin and Yang (it's the Add New Fill or Adjustment Layer button)
- Pick Brightness/Contrast.
- Move the Brightness slider a bit to the right, (you will fine tune the brightness once you've done the rest, this is just so you can see which bits are glowy) and hit OK.
- Select the new layer and go to Channels. Pick the Brightness/Contrast 1 Mask channel.
- Choose black as foreground, white as back.
- Equip Fill tool and fill entire thing.
- Equip normal Eraser and set for Pencil mode. Decrease size so you can only get the correct pixels.
- Use Eraser to rub out bits that must glow. Use Zoom if it helps.
- Zoom back out and admire the glowy effect. The Adjustment layer is just like a regular one, so you can Merge them together once you're sure you won't need to edit it.
