GAAK

Updated more or less weekly

From here on in, GAAK will be updating twice weekly, Monday and Friday. We're getting closer to the end of archived material, and I want to get enough of a buffer of the new pages to continue uninterrupted.

Darryl Hughes (thedeeman) says: THE ANSWER IS--YES! You can read GAAK while on the toilet.

THE QUESTION? Can I buy a copy of GAAK?

"GAAK: Volume One" (ISBN: 1-4116-1666-9) is available at Amazon through the links above (the dog with the VERY unusual head) and below (the text link), and also at Barnes&Noble, and better bookstores everywhere.

If you can't find GAAK at your local bookstore--Ask for it! Have the sales person order it for you using the ISBN above. Infact, please do. Because then they'd stock GAAK on their shelves where others can see it and buy it too.

It's a win-win. LOL! :)

Darryl Hughes (thedeeman) says: JUST A REMINDER: "G.A.A.K: Groovy Ass Alien Kreatures" the 2007 Glyph Comic Award nominated 50's style scifi, monsters-run-amok, alien invasion adventure with the Spielerg flair by Darryl Hughes(me) and Monique MacNaughton (You know? The comic that you're reading right now. LOL!) is available in print.

"GAAK: Volume One" (ISBN: 1-4116-1666-9) is available at Amazon at the links above (the dog with the STRANGE head) and below (the text link), Barnes&Noble, and at better bookstores everywhere. If you can't find it at your local bookstore--Ask for it!

Infact, please do. If your local bookstore doesn't have GAAK ask the manager to order a copy of GAAK using the ISBN number above. That way your local bookstore will stock GAAK on it's shelves and other folks will be introduced to it as well.

It's a win-win. XD

Darryl Hughes (thedeeman) says: YES, YOU CAN OWN A COPY OF GAAK!!!

That's right. GAAK: Volume One" (ISBN: 1-4116-1666-9) is available at Amazon by clicking on the links above (the dog with the UNUSUAL head) and below (the text link), as well as at Barnes&Noble and better bookstores everywhere. If you can't find GAAK at your bookstore-ASK FOR IT!!!

In fact PLEASE DO!!!

If you can't find "GAAK: Volume One" a your local book store ask them to order you a copy using the ISBN number 1-4116-1666-9 or by the authors name: Darryl Hughes. This helps not only in getting you a copy of your own, but it also helps expose more people to GAAK because your book store will add GAAK to it's shelves. So asking for GAAK at your local book store helps both you AND us. It's a win-win situation. :)

Darryl Hughes (thedeeman) says: THE OFFICIAL "GET GAAK INTO BOOKSTORES" DRIVE!!!

Okay GAAKsters. If you enjoy our little monsters-run-amok, alien invasion adventure with the Spielerg flair and were planning on getting yourself or the little GAAKster on your Xmas list a copy of "GAAK: Volume One" as a holiday gift,"GAAK: Volume One" is available at Amazon at the link above (the dog with the unusual head) and below (the text link) as always. But I'm urging you to hep get GAAK into bookstores by ordering you personal or gift copy at your local bookstore.

Using the ISBN number (#1-4116-1666-9) have your local bookstore manager order you a copy of GAAK if they don't already have it on their shelves. This helps us in two ways: You get your copy of GAAK (of course) and the bookstore will add GAAK to their shelves where other folks who may not have been exposed to GAAK can also find it.

It's a win-win situation. :)

Darryl Hughes (thedeeman) says: A FEW WORDS FROM THE CREATORS:

Hello GAAKsters. After much discussion, Monique and I have chosen to add a donation button to the site. Mostly in an effort to help offset the rising cost of materials, etc, while we're hard at work creating the next Hughes/MacNaughton collaboration for your reading pleasure. The web graphic novel "THE CONTINENTALS: THAT SHAPE AM I".

Set in 19th century England, "The Continentls" is an exciting and atmospheric scifi/mystery/adventure about a series of gruesome Jack the Ripper like murders and the threads that bind the murderer, his victims, the highest echelons of society, it's lowest dregs, and even those investigating the case in a tangled web of intrigue that is like the best of Sherlock Holmes, mixed with equal parts of the 60's tv show "The Avengers", with a dash of James Bond for flavor.

If all goes well "The Continentals" is set to debut in 2009. If you can give a donation to help in this effort--PLEASE DO. Your contributions no matter how small are greatly appreciated. :)

Sincerely,

Darryl Hughes - GAAK writer dude
