The DS Phat and DS Lite only have a few differences, one of which is the Lite is smaller, lighter, and it also has a much brighter screen which makes gaming easier to do outside and nicer to look at overall.

Hmm, I'd bet you'd have a hard time finding a new Phat in any retail location; but that's not a bet I'm willing to take. There may be 1 Phat left in some EBgames in a small town in Kentucky or something.
