Pen, brush and ink on 11 x 17 paper Tools: Hunt 102 and 108 nibs, a #2 watercolor brush and a bottle of Koh-I-noor India ink. Speaking of ridiculously detailed backgrounds, here’s another one. The demolished building was rendered from a photograph that I took of a torn down hospital in Notre Dame de Grace in Montreal. The graffiti in Panel 2 was drawn from a shot I grabbed in downtown Montreal. There are some fantastic backdrops in that city sanctioned and otherwise. -Jay
