Pen, brush and ink on 11 x 17 paper Tools: Hunt 102 and 108 nibs, a #2 watercolor brush and a bottle of Koh-I-noor India ink. I’m still proud of how this one turned out. The soldier is a composite of an old mercenary and a hip-hop star. The head and body are from different sources. It was an experiment that worked. The backdrops are drawn from my photos of a construction site of a new hospital in Montreal. -Jay
