I did the first version of this around the time of the Batman R.i.P storyline in comics, and this is a joking reference to that. Batman didn't really die in that one (it's superhero comics after all...), obviously, but still. Got no idea if its funny or even coherent today, but its one of my favorite examples of Annie-logic...
