GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR INNER GEEZER

Some of you may be unfamiliar with columnist Ann Coulter, and that's a good thing. Ann makes her living writing from the far, far right political perspective. She's earned many nicknames, none of them nice. Humor from the political left, such as Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show" focuses on issues for its punch. Jon uses the actual words of the people he lampoons to make his jokes. Ann, on the other hand, personally attacks Democrats (and others) with ugly insults. Usually there's no truth whatsoever to what she says. Recently she called Presidential candidate John Edwards a....a....I can't say it. She called him the word for gay that starts with an "f", that's as insulting as the "n" word is to African Americans. For the first time, it's hurt her career. "The Hotline" wrote about this and called her Axx Cxxxxxx. It made me laugh very hard, and it reminded me of the way they treat Voldemort in the Harry Potter books. I guess Ann is now "she who must not be named". Exactly. I have drawn her as Silus, the homicidal albino monk from "The Da Vinci Code". That works for me, because I do believe that Ann's remarks about others reflect a deep inner turmoil about herself. And in the end, people like Ann always end up destroying themselves. It's the old karmic boomerang effect.
