Last night I watched a new documentary about Mary Magdaline on the History Channel.  It was cleverly titled "Something about Mary Magdeline", taken from the film title "There's Something About Mary".  It made several excellent points and drew some new conclusions, based on writings in the Nag Hamadi scrolls.  I have no quarrel with the tenets of any religion, but I do have a problem with philosophical systems that become closed to new information.  And I hold the rather unusual belief that all religions and philosophies are true.  In my opinion, there is not One Way, but many ways, to be human.  But since I was raised as a Prodestant, I'm especially eager to see those denominations embrace new knowledge that enhances our understanding.  Actually, though, I invented my own belief system, and that's the way I like it.
