I was idly drinking a can of diet soda and decided to look at the ingredients.  One of several spooky sounding things listed was "wood resin rennet".  Excuse me?  I know that rennet has always been used to make cheese, but I've never heard it associated with wood before.  Oh, never mind.  The government is looking after my welfare, checking these things, right?  Oh, never mind.  And thanks to Beverly, for her email about yesterday's cartoon, which was much classier than the cartoon itself!
