A while back I read an article about raising your energy level that suggested you dress up when you're at home alone.  This was pretty radical for me, because I usually hang out in my softest, oldest, most comfy clothes and no makeup, with my hair piled into a messy glob.  And I love it.  Just for fun, though, I dressed up and went about my day.  It felt yucky, but hey, I tried it.
