This cartoon came from a story one of my grandmas told me about her childhood. I could imagine my grandma as a little girl, stealing her neighbor's apples, but it seemed much funnier to draw old ladies stealing apples from an even older one. I also thought it was funny that grandma's neighbor made such a fuss about a few apples.
