This cartoon has two meanings.  An oxymoron is something that contaiins within itself inherent opposites, such as icy/hot.  Anyone who loves a teenager can attest to that quality.  But I've also noticed that most of the zit creams have "oxy" in the name, and that's been true since I was a teenager.  So, Rose is taking a little dig at her grandson Norman, just because she can.  I hope that all of you are celebrating the Chinese New Year today, and in the next two weeks.  It's one of the most beloved festivals in the entire world, and this year it ushers in the year of the Golden Rat.  Double Happiness to all of you!  Today there are 902 cartoons on this website for you to see.  E-mail me at:  pjones41@kc.rr.com.
