It wouldn't be the first time that someone wet on Santa, would it?  Louella just got too excited, that's all.  Do you suppose she asked for a bolt action single shot Red Rider beebee gun?  Probably not, or Santa would have said, "You'll put your eye out, kid!". 

Today those of us in the northern hemisphere celebrate the winter solstice, with the shortest day and longest night of the year.  Appropriately enough, it's only supposed to get up to eleven degrees here in Kansas City today.  Ok, bring out the spiked eggnog, roaring fire, hot shower, flannel sheets, and steaming bowl of chili, please!  Those of you living in the southern hemisphere are celebrating your summer solstice today.  I'm jealous!  Today's Cartoon:  #1,220.  Suggestion Box:  pjones41@kc.rr.com.
