I dedicate this one to a friend of mine who recently became interested in feng shui.  A good amount of the ideas in feng shui come from practical sources, and leaving the toilet lid open gives a perfect example.  It doesn't make sense to share the toilet environment with the rest of the house.  In feng shui lingo we say that it releases bad chi, or energy, but it practical terms it's just bad hygiene.  Please e-mail me at:  pjones41@kc.rr.com, and come join me on facebook, too.  Farmville, anyone?
