Ain't it the truth?  The best costumes I've seen the last few years made some sort of social or political statement, and they were homemade, too.  And I've noticed that 80's garb has been really popular for Halloween.  Having lived through the 80's, I have to bite my tongue not to mention items that actually were popular in the seventies, or even sixties.  But the costumes that aren't accurate look festive, nonetheless.  Long Live Halloween!  Please e-mail me at:  pjones41@kc.rr.com, and come join me on facebook, too.  Farmville, anyone?
