The pharaohs liked to feature all kinds of powerful animals at their festivals, implying that they also possessed those qualities.  We favor simpler options, now, for New Year's.  Maybe a game night, or maybe we show bravery by venturing out to ring in the Near Year.  I like to burn a yule log in the fireplace.  What does it for you?  Please e-mail me at:  pjones41@kc.rr.com.
