Yeah. Good guys fight with honor. But there was no honor in the way La Foote killed the Cap'n, literally stabbed him in the back. La Foote is a bastard, totally beyond redemption. Quake I'm not so sure about. Clearly he's gone over to the Dark side of the Spoon, but there might still be good in him.

I third that motion. I always enjoy a good dose of heroine, that is a female hero, and I think Brunhilda killing La Foote, saving Alfie, would do nicely.
Regarding the "Dark Side of the Spoon", I was just trying to come up with a metaphor for good-vs-evil that fit with the whole Cerealia cosmology. Maybe it doesn't quite fit, or is too reminiscent of Pink Floyd. I should have just called it the "Dark Side". Cerealia also seems to have a literal light and dark side. Kinda uncanny the way it's always morning on most of the island, and always night at Castle Chocula.

There's dueling, and there's combat. In a duel, you have time for niceties like fairness and rules. In combat, the idea is to kill the other guy. Preferably, before he knows you're doing it. Before he can cause damage to your side, is also excellent, but it would be acceptable simply to kill him before he kills you. Slice his liver out, Alfie. Preferably before he draws steel. Then dance on it and spit on his nose.
