Silly Rabbit.... oh wait was that too obvious? Amazing job Mr. Jones. You have kept my interest for over two years. I can't wait to see what you have in the pipeline after the glorious conclusion of this masterpiece. Keep up the sassy work!
Billy D (billy_dole) says:
I'm getting kind of confused here. What made Rabbit decide not to hang himself? And who was haunting Booberry earlier?
Brendan Jones (poyorick) says:
Hey Billy, The Rabbit's momentary decision to commit suicide was just due to guilt and was prevented by Bossz Moss of the Freakies (back in Book Two). We then saw him surreptitiously watching the Cap'n's funeral from the shadows. We haven't seen him since, but clearly he decided to redeem himself by joining the resistance effort in ninja disguise.
And Boo Berry was being "haunted" by Cookie Jarvis who needed his help to escape the blue diamond charm he had hidden himself within. Sorry if I haven't made these plot points clear enough.

Congratulations to our awesome benefactor, Brendan Douglas Jones, on the completion of this Page 30 of Book 3, Apocalypse Yum! I think the appearance of Page 30, Book 3, is a good omen because it means the end (of the story) is near! Plus the action seems to be working itself into a sugar-frenzied crescendo, and in accordance with the true meaning of "apocalypse", great secrets are being uncovered. Also, uncovered on this page: Trix Rabbit. He literally uncovers his face, taking off his ninja mask. ;-) I'm gonna miss T.R., I mean whether he meets his end in the next page, for irking Chocula or, um, whatever happens to him. I think this sarcastic, hard-boiled, hard drinking, chain smoking, complex yet "silly" rabbit is my favorite of all the characters of Cerealia.
Rick Smith (llsmith) says:
Unreal. Love, love, LOVE this. Let's see...what's open right now? Quake v. Ufo, Sugar Bear v. Fruit Brute, Tony v. Frank, Trix vs. Chocula (not liking how this is probably going to end), and...the mysterious discovery. Lot of threads...as a fan this makes me ridiculously happy. Thank you, Brendan. This has been an incredible series!
tazz R (oldtdevil) says:
This has been an amazing journey. I look forward to every page.
Josh Shepherd (bergerjacques) says:
I just realized ... we never saw the fates of Snap Crackle and Pop past the Trix Rabbit seeing them in bandages in the dungeon. IF, as Chocula says, its all about FOOD ... that does not bode well for the fate of those three onomotopaic elves.
David Minerley (dharma88) says:
"I think the appearance of Page 30, Book 3, is a good omen because it means the end (of the story) is near!" As much as I appreciate what you mean, I think it is a BAD omen that the end of the story is near - I want it to go on forever!
Adam Self (suedodeus) says:
Heh. The rabbit is so used to people seeing through his "disguises" that he's geniunely surprised that Chocula doesn't recognize him. Hilarious. Guess this is my first comment here so... keep it up! I love this comic. Finally, the internet destroying people's childhoods in a constructive manner.
