You forgot to include the magician boy from the Great good stuff hot cereal.
Chris Karukas (tadghostal) says:
:-)
Todd Newman (tnewman) says:
Wow! What a great story this has been! The new pages can't come out fast enough for my taste! Lightly toasted brilliance with just a touch of sugar, all part of a balanced breakfast! So, my Latin is rusty, but it looks like Jarvis is saying (something like) "Permit the immediate appearance of two scoops of light..... permit the immediate appearance of two scoops of justice..." Nice touch Brendan!
Edmund Metheny (shosuro_kando) says:
Ouch! Fruit Brute goes down like a punk! And the smile seems to have been wiped off the Count's face at last.
eric fields (emf) says:
Two scoops of justice! Two scoops of enlightenment! Wow, man! I imagine Jarvis had to move heaven and earth to pull off this trick!
eric fields (emf) says:
Not sure if the sun is shining where you are, Brendan, but I sure hope it is. If you'll permit it, the following link is on-topic. It's more cartoon solar product endorsement: Sun Fizz(tm): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxiSCf97Ybw
Kevin Conod (kdconod) says:
Two Scoops of Justice yeah!! The little boy is Sparkles Genie from Post sugar flakes. The wizard next to him is the Alpha Bits Wizard. The two flying nymphs under Jarvis are the Raisin Bran fairies. Sprinkle Spangles Genie on bottom right and to his left Magic Hat from Magic Puffs Cereal. And finally the really tall fellow in the back is Whoo, The Wizard Of Oatz from Kellogg's All-Stars.
eric fields (emf) says:
Kevin, thank you for ID-ing all those magickal characters. My failure to recognize them probably means I'm "out of the loop" somehow. I might also be out of the puff, and out of the flake too, which probably means it's time to re-visit the cereal isle and buy some more. ;-)
eric fields (emf) says:
A spelling correction: I just remembered the word "aisle", meaning a place to walk, is spelled with an "a". It's a homophone with "isle" which is another word for "island". It's easy to get these words confused, since the aisles in a grocery store exist between "islands" of shelves in an ocean of retail-space. That is to say the "aisles" are the places where you walk, and the "isles" are the shelves. This also makes me think that maybe this land of Cerealia, this island, the Isle of Cerealia, the name might be a play on words, a pun: Island of Cerealia = Isle of Cerealia = Cereal Isle = Cereal Aisle
duane korol (sdklocke) says:
Can we the what happened with Quake next?
Josh Shepherd (bergerjacques) says:
Oooooohhhh mannnnnn! The terrible fate of tragic Fruit Brute, and the horror that Sugar Bear tried to suppress results in the realization of his greatest fear. Will he even begin to forgive Tony for forcing the issue.... Man, that was great!
Mark Shainblum (webcomics-ca) says:
Hey! I see the Alpha-Bits wizard floating there in the background.
David Minerley (dharma88) says:
YAY! I was right about the cereal mascot who had yet to make an appearance!
Marrock Volsung (marrockv) says:
I just hope Jarvis doesn't burn himself out channeling all that energy
eric fields (emf) says:
Yeah, nobody likes burned cookies, and a burned Cookie Jarvis would be tragic too. But I think he'll be alright. Most of his exposed skin is covered by long flowing robes anyway. In fact I think catching a few rays could do Jarvis some good. He was trapped indoors, confined magically in a blue diamond charm, for how long? You can tell its been a while, because his skin looks kinda pale - I mean he's not as pale as the Count, but uh... that's another story.
duane korol (sdklocke) says:
Whats up with the soggies? Seems you kinda got away from that angle.
gwen patton (ardrhi) says:
I had posted a comment about "two scoops" back when Jarvis first pulled out the sun medallion, but I guess it was too much of a spoiler...it didnt' get approved.
