Ganji was once a more mischievous pagan spirit from Ethiopia, until some Rastafari sorcerors got hold of him. They turned him on to their philosophy, gave him some pot, and bound him in a hookah for fifty years so he could think about what he'd done. Fortunately, the pot was extremely mellow, so he didn't mind. Released in the late 80s, he eventually took to life on the grounds of Freak U., enrolling in a law course.

Ganji provides one of the most valuable services to Omega House: he knows where to get really, really good drugs. But also, he has a mildly precognitive sense; anything goes wrong on the house grounds, and he knows about it. Also sometimes gets premonitions of danger concerning official members of Omega house, no matter where they may be. He's the main thing keeping Dean Wienerman from paving over Omega House, and as such has incurred his special enmity. Back to the Cast Page
