Vincent is a Homunculus brought to life by Professor Fallopius and Esme, using a combination of science and magic. Esme designed him as a combination of all the best traits of her former boyfriends, and considers him to be "the perfect man."

Vincent is effortlessly cool, unfailingly polite and considerate, completely devoted to Esme, and hopelessly romantic. He's also passionate about music. Along with Esme, Hairy Larry and Gnarl, he's formed "Children of the Night", a "goth rockabilly monster band", and is the lead singer and guitarist. And he's strong enough to bench-press a buick.
