cool, it looks weird in just line form. Also the story seems to be wandering a bit - I don't mind if you are going for a "gag of the Week" type of comic now but it used to have a definite story line and now it jumps around between about six different ones while not actually getting anywhere...just my opinion , still prepared to wait this out and see where it goes as it is a lot of fun

M. Prosser has already added color and shading to a number of the previous panels. I like the green robe on the "SORCERY!" dude especially. As well as the new bass playing vampire - setting up a Lycan - Vampire fight that will automatically be better than anything conceived of in Underworld just because....

Thank you. It's funny: in many ways my art improves in a sort of organic way...the more I draw, the more details I cram in and the more subtleties I master, but not through any real conscious effort. I just keep plugging away until I sort of zone out. So I don't know if the strips seem to be taking longer because of this, or if I'm just going through a lazy patch.
Anyway, the May 25th strip is up in full colour now too, and hopefully the backlogs should be totally complete by the end of the week.

Nope, I just nailed it this time. It's really just a matter of saying, "bright light at night=stronger contrasts." And adding a glow halo to the lights.

I feel sorry for Brandina - she thinks she has this really great guy when in fact he is an insecure, womanising idiot that doesn't appreciate when he is blessed. I see better romantic tension between Carol and Cosmo. Brandina's cool and all, but you can tell Cosmo is dealing with some major conflicts that led to their relationship. You've got his ex high school flame who ditches him, then Brandina comes in, a damsel in distress and final girl slasher survivor, needing his help, but who is far more aggressively sexual than he is. (It's almost, but not quite a Chasing Amy relationship in that Brandina is vastly more worldly than Cosmo. Cosmo came into Freak U completely naive.) I am surprised he hasn't been at least modestly reactive to Brandina's openness. For a guy who seems wired for monogamy, he took to an emotionally charged threesome, his ex with whom he feels angry and betrayed and somewhat alienated from and Brandina who adopted a course of action right out of the blue, like a total pro.
Sorry if I seem harsh but what Isee is someone that obviously had feelings for one girl, got sucked into a relationship with another that seemed to be working great and now he has been all sexed up with her he seems to be drawn back to Carol again - I have a problem with this - it smacks of cowardice, weakness and infidelity.
But you know what? This is a piece of fiction so maybe I shouldn't take it too seriously - Blast you Adam Prosser for creating characters we give a Hoot for :)!!!
Obviously dramatically speaking Carol is his Destiny but I feel sorry for Supergirrr...er I mean Brandina and her magically chromatimorphic hair

Sorry to hear about your loss, on a more positive note I am loving the art work lately - i think the colour has achieved a new level of gorgeousness and there are interesting undercurrents in the story with lothario Cosmo and Vince showing a lack of patience with Esme...trouble ahead? You betcha!!!
Oh by the way i waasn't able to comment for about a fortnight because of the stupid and annoying way the comment box is sset up, every few weeks it automatically logs me out - by which time i have forgotten the password and it ends up being easier just to sign in as a new user - yes I am still Great Sage despite the Leet version of my name
