I always meant for Esme to be plump and sort of matronly...she is the Omega den mother, after all. At any rate, I didn't want all the girls to have the same body type like in some comics. I don't always pull it off, but at least Esme and Carol (super-slim) have distinctive bodies.

Sounds too awsome for me. :), I just read the first adventure - I like it, kind of bittersweet and fun atthe same time - very likeable characters and hot chix in barely legal outfits - what's not to like?

Thanks, man. Part of me wants to bring that strip back, but I've got so many other, and I think better, ideas, to work on instead. And if I did ASR again, it would be a total revamp from the beginning, which is too much work.

There's a mike, it's just...um...out of frame. Y'know, Vincent did that thing where you step back to do a solo. Go back to some of the earlier strips and you'll see him singing. (Though I don't claim that he's any great lyricist...)
And yeah, Vince plays acoustic lead with a mike taped inside. He does have an electric guitar, but he likes the feel of the acoustic on most of his songs.
I would like to point out that Ruy IS an actual vampire, he just also happens to work for the Catholic church undercover. No sparkling, though. Clearly, he's not a TRENDY vampire.
