That is one of the most gorgeous splashes I've ever seen.

Adam Prosser (prankster) says: I see what you did there.

I think I need to find a better way of doing the translations from Lemurian script. It's not always obvious to what the translation boxes are referring.
John Higley (jedraft) says:

Now, THAT is a battle cry for the ages!!!

Right up there with "SPOON!!"

Loving it, Adam.

Adam Prosser (prankster) says: Thank you, sir! I'm glad to be back at it, at least for a couple of weeks!
John Higley (jedraft) says:

Hoorays!!!!

Indomitable barbarian babe to the rescue!!!

John Higley (jedraft) says:

Lemurs rock!

Especially lemurs and convenient rocks ...  :)

Swell update! :)

Okay - Smax me if you mentioned it and  I missed it, but what is that thing that they're riding?  Is it a satire of the thing that Tarna rode in "Heavy Metal?" Is it a bird? A mutated chicken-lizard?  What's it called?

Also, did the maniac hitchhiker ever get his brain controlled, or was there a limit to even what the kappa could do?

Adam Prosser (prankster) says: I deliberately left him off-page, so we'll never know, will we?

Swordi's steed is named Captain Smelly. I don't think that's come out in the dialogue yet. She's just some kind of weird Lemurian beast, possibly related to a dinosaur, and she exists because barbarian babes always have to have a weird riding beast for some reason. Even though we've established that they have horses in Lemuria. Except it would be pretty hard for a horse to carry Swordi, Sorcera, Lloid, and all their luggage, I guess.
Josh Shepherd (bergerjacques) says:

Its still perfectly apt to be reminscent of the bird thing Tarna rode in Heavy Metal. Swordi could probably teach Tarna how not to have been caught by that insane whatsits controlled by that glowing green ball.

John Higley (jedraft) says:

Swordi would probably have figured out a way to kick the Loknar's ass without having to dive headfirst into a seething green magical whoozis.  I love Swordi. I would date her in a heartbeat.

Come to think of it, I think I did, at one point.

Or was it two points? :)
