inspired by V.C. Andrews and Japanese yaoi,like brokeback flowers in the attic:P. Songbirds has been floating around the net in obscurity for about 5 years and hopefull will float around for five more

Volume One: Fly Away with Me (complete)

Pretty boys and Poetry. Gavin (probably the most beautiful boy in the world,) is the love child of the Shining stars. A very popular rock duo that died at the peak of their career. After their tragic deaths he is sent to live with his strict and abusive uncle. All hopes of following in his parents footsteps are crushed under his uncle's brutality. Life looks bleak for Gavin.

Zione Cole (the 2nd most beautiful boy in the world) has dreams of being a rock star and will stop at nothing to make them come true. His band was ready to sign a record deal with a major label, but lost their lead singer. After going through dozens of replacements he believes Gavin's voice is what's missing. Zione's manager and guardian, Alan, disagrees with him, and insists they stick with the lead singer they've got. Zione sets off to convince him to join his band any ways, adding turmoil to Gavin's already turbulent life. Still in spite of the ensuing trouble their relationship is bound to cause, they're drawn to each other. But just as they form a bond, secrets from the past threaten to end the music before it starts.

Volume Two: Antea Camena (Complete)

Gavin is finally free of his uncle, or so he thinks. His feelings are growing stronger for Zione but knows nothing about him. And Zione is sending out mixed signals, Gavin begins to wonder if Zione really cares for him or even if there is someone else. There's an invisible wall between them, that may just come crashing down... at the prom? 

Volume Three: Broken Wings (coming soon)  Thanks for everyone's support and inquiries, v3 is currently  being written and thumbnailed and should get going in the spring or summer of 2008.

I just wanted to say I really loved the comic. I loved it all. I felt really bad for Gavin and was really glad after he died. I love that you had no fear and made Zione and Gavin not only an interacial couple, but a same sex couple as well. I thought the relationship between Zione and Gavin was really sweet, and that the characters were really well developed. All and all I really really enjoyed it and hope to see more of it soon.
