The Tempest are blue bloods who have too much money and time on their hands. On the outside the Tempests come across as a fine upstanding family, but there are enough skeletons in the family closet to fill a grave yard. Edward is intent on controlling Alan's life, turning him into a proper heir to the Tempest name. Edward dislikes Zione greatly.
