Isabel Usher is an average student, and she thinks of herself as ordinary, but she?s also lead guitarist with The Psychobabes ? fast becoming the band?s best musician and increasingly a contributor to her sister?s songs. Since she was a little kid she?s been best friends with Ariane (now the band?s bassist), fascinated by the other girl?s hectic high spirits and not noticing the wild streak in herself which makes her the perfect accomplice! Isabel is puzzled and anxious about the riots which break out at their gigs, but since they aren?t the ones that start them she figures it?s OK. Like her sister, Isabel is a straightforward, nice person ? nice to the point of being na?ve, in fact ? but in spite of her easygoing nature she gets sick of being treated as kid sister by the others.
