Today's inspiration: Jim Mahfood

In an effort to elevate the art a little bit, I've been looking to various sources for inspiration. Mostly, I'm looking at guys who have a "cartoony" style, which Mr. Mahfood has. But he also does incredible layouts and backgrounds, both areas I'm working on. And by finding inspiration in (re: stealing from) his work, I like the way this strip turned out.
