Is this starting to feel like a horror movie yet? I hope so. That's the goal. Granted, it might seem like a really weird horror movie, since it's paced out over a bunch of comic strips, but at it's core, I'm hoping this is something horror fans would recognize as familiar. The strips so far in this arc have fallen into a category I call First Act Character Builders. These are the kinds of little scenes I see all the time (or wish I did, anyway--guess that's why I do this) in the first thirty minutes of a horror movie. Now, I don't know if this strip will ever actually be scary, but as this arc progresses, tensions with highten and pulses will pound. Or not. Gotta wait and see...
