Tapper and Prudi contemplate the stars, and the lives they might have had.

From the musical version of The Double:

If Only Dreams Could Be For Real (MP3, 80-bit, 1.8 MB, 3 minutes). Vocals: Kim Middel and Michel Bouma. Guitars, keyboards, drum programme: Daniel Østvold. Bass guitar: Danny Barnhoorn.
The basic tracks for Daniel's musical adaptation of The Double were laid down at his home, on an analog, portable 4-track recorder, in 1997. Two years later, he booked time at Square Wave studios in Groningen, NL, to record vocals, bass guitar, live drums and some other touches. It's easy to tell: some parts were better produced than others.
The album was never released but pieces of it turned up in Daniel's exhibits. This meditative song featuring Michel Bouma as Tapper and Kim Middel as Prudi was the second on the tracklist, following a short instrumental intro.
