Some time after sending in Expecting to Fly. Daniel came to Groningen to record an EP called Expecting to Play, and being the sort of artist he is, he naturally wanted to dedicate a comic to it as well. So here's the sequel to Expecting to Fly, a comic as demented as its predecessor, but in a more efficient style.

As always, Daniel uses his comics to bring together references to all other elements of his art, as well as his life, including his toy collection. He had the "Grown men playing with toys" angle covered years before the webcomics boom — his toys and figurines actually appear in his paintings and sculpture as well, and his installations often resemble toy displays. Look out for references to the other Chronicles of the Witch Queen comics, and Daniel's music!
