I am not the only one wanting to spin off a story from Invasion. Some time in 2008, Fesworks contacted me about a storyline using faeries from my comic's broader universe, and a year later, he got back to me with concrete plot points, questions and a possible design for one of two faeries, a female and a male. This design was my response, showing how the faerie he drew would look if I drew her in a manner that was consistent with the known faeries from Invasion.
