One of a Hundred by Marc Joyce

Luke 15:1-7 - a widower searches for his place.
... Read It Now!
Dean Rankine's Review of One of a Hundred
When I first started looking at, 'One of a Hundred' I thought, 'Wow! This is going to be a tough read'.
You'd have to be a brave man to do a webcomic about a funeral. Especially, one that explores a touchy subject like spirituality. But Marc Joyce seems to be pulling it off with integrity intact. Joyce has a lovely cartoony drawing style. And his 'easy going' dialogue (and touching humour) carries the story along with ease and grace. Each installment peels away another layer to reveal more of the main characters thoughts and fears as he tries to come to grips with a heartbreaking loss. Sometimes (because of the subject matter) it CAN be a tough read but a worthwhile read none the less ... read it now!
