Mike Luce's Review of Shi Long Pang
A comic about history, about China, about individuals; I'm certainly glad I found it!
"Shi Long Pang" is an interesting mix; part history lesson, part comedy, part serious personal journey, it's all of these things and more than a sum of said parts. There's wonderfully cartooned characters and backgrounds, a great sense of color as well as place. While the historical footnotes get a little thick sometimes, it's still good to learn about a culture I knew little enough about.
