REVVVelations Written and colored by Stan Yan, Illustrated by Jolyon Yates

REVVVelations is an action adventure jam packed with humor, religiosity, romantic tension, and mutant disfigurations. Oh, and YES, there is cannibalism, but it's really not polite to talk about, even though everyone knows it happens. Mature Audiences.

daniel bristow's Review of REVVVelations
REVVVelations is how I like my comics: darkly funny, hugely violent, and expertly drawn.

Set in a dystopian future in which everyone seems to be either insane racing drivers, radioactive mutants, religious fundamentalists, or all three, REVVVelations reminds me a little of Hard Boiled by Miller and Darrow. It's got the same cluttered scenery and attention to detail in the artwork, and similar snappy, noir-ish dialogue. The drawing is clean and elegant, and the layouts are busy and dynamic while remaining easy to read. The flat, cell-shaded-style colours add to the smooth production quality.

Also, the story opens with a massive car chase, and references to cannibalism. What's not to like?
