Death can be known by many names but did you know that Annabelle was among them.

 From the 1930s to the 1950s, the Olympia Motorcycle Club held an annual event called the "Death Head Race."  Apparently, the track consisted of various terrains in order to best test bikers merit.  The winner of the race received a trophy that contained a real human skull, named Annabelle.

 Apparently, the head came from a local dental school who used it to practice their techniques.

 And if dentists working on skulls doesn't sum it up for you, then nothing will.
