I started drawing when I had weekly detentions in 6th grade.  Usually it was not doing my work and completely 'lacking any sort of attention to the subject.'  during these afterschool appointments, I would take out my notebook and begin drawing pictures where all the notes should have been.  At the end of the hour, I would pack up the notebook and head home without ever having to turn the assignment in...

Oddly enough, it didn't seem to matter to my teacher whether I actually did the work or not.
