Alex is a lowly freshman at Salem High, and is constantly reminded by his elder brother what a depressed loser he is. He just can't help it, happines has evaded him his entire life. Secretly, he wishes that all preppies would drop down dead. Well, maybe not so secretly. Perhaps when he finally sees what real darkness looks like, he'll understand what beauty there is around him.
