Friday - October 22, 2004:

Viruses. I've had to deal with my share. they're one of the reasons I'm so hesitant to turn off Norton Internet Security to look at any of the thousands of webcomics hosted on Keenspace. I hope they resolve the problem some day. Whenever I've brought the problem to anyone's attention though, they've nonchalantly told me to disable my firewall. That's just not good enough. Millions of people use firewalls and they're there for a reason. As a web-comic reviewer, I can only guess how many decent strips I haven't been able to look at because of this little glitch. At the time of this writing, I wasn't even able to get onto the main keenspace.com site. I'm still curious as to why all the problems happen though and why the people who run Keenspace, spot... haven't done anything about it. Does anyone know anything about the problems? I know it's not just me because I've run into plenty of complaints about it. I have higher hopes for Webcomics Nation that should be making its debut this coming weekend. Sorry Keaners.
